WATCH: What Does the Future Hold? (Gospel Light Minute X #377)

This is the “chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #377 titled, “What Does the Future Hold?” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says, that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.

Most people seem to think that the world is becoming, or will inevitably become, a better place in which to live. It is felt that through education, diplomacy, and scientific advances, most people will live longer, better, and more peaceful lives than any who have lived before. Is this really what’s next?

There are two very important things in this statement. First, Jesus reiterates His promise to return to the world (more about this later). Second, when He comes, the condition of the world will be the same as it was in the days of Noah. What is said about the world then? We are told, “The earth was corrupt” and “filled with violence”. The headlines on the evening news and in the world’s newspapers every day show that in spite of our “advanced civilization” and modern technology, these two evils—corruption and violence—are filling the world today. No Matter How Bad Your Situation Is, Just Come to Jesus (Gospel Light Minute X #369)

This is the “chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #369 titled, “No Matter How Bad Your Situation Is, Just Come to Jesus.” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says, that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.

COME: A message to you from Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ says: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light..”

“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden . . .”

That’s you. Whether you’re a millionaire or deep in debt, you are carrying a load of sin. You can come to God in such a condition. Jesus Christ welcomes you. He will cleanse you and make you presentable to His Father, God.

“I will give you rest . . .” Continue reading “No Matter How Bad Your Situation Is, Just Come to Jesus (Gospel Light Minute X #369)”

Which Way Will You Go With Jesus? (Gospel Light Minute X #363)

This is the “chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #363 titled, “Which Way Will You Go With Jesus?” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says, that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.

WHAT DID PEOPLE SAY ABOUT JESUS?

“Kill Him!” said King Herod when he heard that Jesus was born.

“My eyes have seen Your Salvation which You have prepared in the sight of all people,” Simeon said to God when he held the Baby Jesus.

“Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” said the blind man.

“You healed someone on the Sabbath!” accused the religious leaders.

“Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life. We believe and know that you are the Christ, the Son of the living God,” said Peter and the disciples.

“Crucify Him!” said the religious leaders.

“Take Him away and do what you want,” said Pilate to the religious leaders.

“Remember me when You come into Your Kingdom,” said the thief who hung on the cross next to Jesus.

“Master!” said Mary on Easter Sunday as Jesus met her by the empty tomb.

“Unless I see the nail marks in His hand, I won’t believe He rose from the dead,” said the disciple Thomas.

“My Lord and my God!” said Thomas, a week later as Jesus stood in front of him. Continue reading “Which Way Will You Go With Jesus? (Gospel Light Minute X #363)”
