Jesus Knows All About Your Troubles and Problems, So Come to Him Today (Gospel Light Minute X #374)

This is the “chief of sinners,” Daniel Whyte III, president of Gospel Light Society International, with the Gospel Light Minute X Podcast #374 titled, “Jesus Knows All About Your Troubles and Problems, So Come to Him Today” I’m here to remind you of what the Bible says, that “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” like you and me.

LIFE IS HARD. Jesus knows that. He is God’s Son and He left heaven to rescue you. As a man He endured all the hardships common to humanity. Although He never sinned, He endured pain, loneliness, rejection and death. At the end of His ministry, He offered Himself as a sacrifice and died on the cross to atone, once and for all, for the sins of humanity. God raised Him from the grave and Jesus now reigns in Heaven. He is alive. And He cares for you.

Being God, He knows your thoughts and your circumstances and can rescue you. Being man, He understands what you are going through. He loves you. He wants you to know that His love and His sacrifice is for you. He wants a relationship with you, but He will not force you to open your heart. This is an invitation. Jesus says: “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”

Jesus offers you peace:

He has a solution for your anger and fear. Jesus says: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

Jesus offers you rest:

He has a solution for your daily struggles and burdens. Jesus says: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Jesus offers you forgiveness:

He has a solution for your guilt and failures. Being God, He has the power and authority to forgive your sins and give you new life. By His death on the cross for you, He made it possible for you to be forgiven and healed.

Isaiah, one of the writer’s of the Bible, writes about Jesus: “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.”

Jesus comes to you: Open your heart to Him.

Jesus cares for you: Give Him your life.

Jesus forgives you: Confess your sins.

Jesus loves you: Believe and pray.

If you are willing to trust Jesus Christ with all of your heart so you can go to Heaven, please pray with me what is called the sinner’s prayer: Holy Father God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and I admit that I have sinned against You and that I have broken Your Ten Commandments. I have lied before. I have stolen things before. I have lusted after people and things before. I have dishonored and disobeyed my parents. I have taken Your holy Name in vain. For Jesus Christ’s sake, please have mercy and grace upon my soul and forgive me of all of my sins, my failures, and my faults. As I now believe in Your Holy Son the Lord Jesus Christ. I believe that He suffered, bled, and died on the cross for my sins, was buried and rose again. Lord Jesus, please come into my heart and save my soul and change my life. Fill me with Your Holy Spirit and help me to repent of my sins past. Help me to turn from my old, evil life and follow You in the new life. For it is in Your Name I pray. Amen.
